March Madness comes to Victory
Victory’s Little Day Out at Victory Square,
Sunday 3 March from 1 to 7 pm.
Don’t be late…for this year’s annual celebration of everything that’s cool about Nelson’s most vibrant and multicultural hub.
Victory’s Little Day Out is gearing up to be another great family-oriented day of funky vibes, live music and international food for sale – with a theme of the Mad Hatters Tea Party!
This is the fourth annual Little Day Out event organised by the Victory Community Association…and it’s going from strength to strength.
This year’s the band line-up includes the ever-popular all-girl Johnny Cash tribute band The Johnnys, Nelson’s country rock outfit The Immigrants, as well as the colourful and uplifting Samba del Sol. There’s also original music from Victory’s own Dayna Sanerivi, Rough Cuts and start the day with the reggae vibe of Smooth Cone Sounds.
Interactive Mad Hatter Tea Party Installation -On the day
As ever there’s a creative and fun element to the day, and organisers want people to come along with zany, colourful and fun hats for a Mad Hatters Tea Party.
Prizes and raffles supported by State cinema, Stephen Robertson Pottery, Vertical limits, way 2 go Victory Community Centre,Post Boy Pub, Dominos Pizza, United Video,Video Ezy,Riverside Pool,Stewart Cycles, Action Indoor Sports Centre, Harvey Norman, Victory New world.
